Substance Abuse Services |

| PORT is a program for youth court ordered to
substance abuse treatment by Gaston County Juvenile Court. PORT provides case management services for youth on probation and is
a link between substance abuse treatment and the courts. |
| |
| PORT Provides: |
- Assistance to youth and their families in completing the
conditions of probation.
- Assistance in arranging and completing the substance abuse
evaluation.
- Assistance in arranging the recommended treatment
- Monitoring of the course of treatment and assistance in
completing the family program
- Liaison with the probation officer to keep the court informed
of the youth's progress in treatment.
- Assistance with obtaining the needed services to complete the
conditions of the probation.
